Goal of the Project: To create a more engaging and interactive experience out of a simple action.
Röra is a Bluetooth© amplifier designed for passive speakers. The amplifier delivers 30 Watts to both the left and right channel for a powerful and clear sound quality. Despite being a simple action, the oversized volume knob creates an incredibly engaging tactile experience that promotes user interaction. The cylindrical walnut housing juxtaposes the machined aluminum knob to create a contrasted yet balanced composition of materials.

Goal of the Project: To create a visual experience out of a household product that lacks emotional engagement.
Listening to music is an action that most individuals do every single day. We have a strong, intimate connection with the music that we choose to play, but we lack the engagement with the devices that play the music that we love. Most speakers are utilitarian devices; they are black boxes that are hidden on shelves, and their sole purpose is to produce audio. For Look Speakers, I wanted to design a product that visualizes the experience of sound. The circular forms are meant to replicate the waves of sound that transmit through the air, and by exposing the vibrating driver and tweeter, the user is able to physically see the sound as they are listening.

I believe that designers hold the key to influencing successful socially conscious initiatives. Ultimately, at the core of all forms of design is the need for human-centered design thinking. Through the power of creativity, as designers, we are able to greatly improve the lives of others.
For World Mental Health Day (October 10, 2016), I released the personal video project that I've been working in support of mental health. The Fall is a difficult time of year for a lot of people, especially students, and everyone has either dealt with mental illness, or knows someone who has. The thing about it is that we all have it. Mental illness isn't something we should be ashamed of talking about, it's so important, and shouldn't be ignored. The purpose of this video is to show everyone how beautiful life can be, and how it is worth living, no matter how difficult it can be at times.
The video was shared on Facebook on October 10 and within 2 weeks has over 10,000 views. LINK
Bang & Olufsen was founded in 1925 in Struer, a small town in the north western part of Denmark, by two enterprising young engineers, Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen. They created the business that was to become an international design icon and a global symbol of audio-visual excellence.
Today Bang & Olufsen is world renowned for its distinctive products that combine technological excellence with emotional appeal in a sensational design language.
By analyzing the market competition, I believe that there is an opportunity for Bang & Olufsen in the mobile speaker segment. The B&O A1 concept combines premium portability with powerful sound that fits within the Bang & Olufsen design ethos.
The project was completed with a working 3D-printed prototype.
Goal of the Project: To create a new and unique experience by re-designing a conventional action.
I believe that your style is an extension of your identity and personality, and the way you display your style should be just as unique. Fisik consists of magnetized clothes hangers, and a cantilevered rail that creates a stunning presentation out of your clothes, instead of a masking them within a closet. Through multi-sensory inputs, hanging up your clothes with FISIK is a rewarding experience. Subtle aluminum and cherry wood details enhance the elegance of the composition.
On Behance FISIK was featured in Product Design on May 2, 2016. The project has over 6500 views and over 650 appreciations.

The CORSA shifter promotes the passion and emotion of spirited driving. With a long history of racing in my family, I was influenced by my great grandfather's 1960's race car, a Brabham BT5. The organic form of the car is paralleled in the shifter to create a comfortable, and natural yet aggressive grip that inspires confidence as a driver.
Sketch models were hand-sculpted out of blue modelling foam. Once the final shape was decided, the model was smoothed and glazed. The silicone mold was then cast around the foam model. Using the two-piece silicone mold, I could cast the shifter using a liquid plastic with an embedded M20 coupling inside that can be attached to most imported vehicles. The casting process allowed me to develop multiple interations to experiment with different CMF styles.

With the excessive use of packaging in various products, I set out to re-design a simple lightbulb packaging that uses one-piece construction and single-sided printing for an eco-friendly solution. I also made the light bulb base visible without having to open the package for easy matching at the hardware store.
The Pakke Workstation is designed for the next generation computer user. As technology continues to evolve, the next generation user will demand versatility from their workspaces. The Pakke Workstation does not have a dedicated purpose; however, with a large working surface, stable construction, and an ergonomic design, a variety of tasks can be completed. A curved front edge creates a comfortable resting position for the user; the kerfed rear panel adds structure to the minimalist design, and a simple cable management system guides cords through the work surface. Other design features of the Pakke Workstation include flat-stock material construction, flat-packaged shipping, and CNC manufacturability to increase accessibility and the ease of distribution.
